Obituary indicated she lived the last four years of her life at St Luke Extended Care Facility in Ronan, Montana. She loved music, singing, crafts, cards, and relaxing with her husband (with a "toddy"). Survived by one daughter, one son, 2 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren (children were by husband prior to Charles Ward).²

Hannah Isobel (--?--) and William Smith appeared on the 1911 Census of Jarrow, England at 44 Clayton Street. The home was listed as containing four rooms. The official date of that census was the night of 2 April, 1911. Their children Aaron Smith, Margaret Smith and Dora Smith were listed as living with them, along with two of William's children from a previous marriage, Robert William Smith and Mary Elizabeth Smith. William Smith and Hannah Isobel (--?--) were listed as ages 42 and 40, respectively, both married (to each other) for 8 years, and both born in Jarrow, Durham County, England. William was listed as a coal trimmer employed at a firm or location that appears to be "Slaiths" or "Slaith's" (possibly the name of a family or firm that owned a dock -- a coal trimmer is normally a person who worked in the cargo hold of a ship keeping the coal pile spread out as it was loaded into the hold). No occupation was listed for Hannah. She was listed as the mother of five children, all still living as of the census date (The elder two children living i tnhe household at the time of the 1911 census were stepchildren of Hannah Isobel. It is unclear if these two are counted among her "five," or if she had two older children not in her 1911 household.)

The 1911 census form (filled out by a member of the household) pretty clearly indicates that the residence is located on "Clayton" Street. Modern-day (2017) maps of Jarrow do not seem to list a "Clayton" Street, but the community does have a "Claytor" Street. Any signifigance to this is not clear because the geography and layout of the community seems to have changed drastically over the ~100 years between when the Smith and Moody families lived there and now (2017). For example, several ohter streets (such as Ellison Street) seem to have vanished.¹

Lois Rankin died on 15 October 2012 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge, Lousiana, at age 90.¹ She was buried at Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary indicated she was a member of the Broadmoor Methodist Church and a 23-year volunteer at Women's Hospital, both in Baton Rouge, Lousiana. It also stated that she was a former girl's softball player (shortstop) in Wilson-Newton, Pennsylvania.¹
