Peru -- Primarily Machu Picchu (Dec 2010)

This is a temple at the top. Interesting thing is that it was never finished. It was under construction at the time of the conquest (and, of course, after the conquest, the church would not permit pagan temples to be built). Several large stone blocks are around, not yet smoothed off and/or put into place.
