Peru -- Primarily Machu Picchu (Dec 2010)

This photo and the next one are shown a bit out of sequence. Apparently different sections of the river were visible from different points on the trail. The dam can be seen in these photos, along with a train at the staion. This is upstream from Machu Picchu -- and also one station "up" toward Cuzco.

This is, again, looking down the "other" side of the mountain (or the "saddle"), opposite the side the bus access road is on.
