Peru -- Primarily Machu Picchu (Dec 2010)

More of a close-up view of the gap in the trail. I didn't go much farther along this particular trail than where this photo was taken from. At this point, I was not on the narrow cliffside ledge portion of the trail.

To me, it was scary just looking at it. Hard to imagine being in an invading war party and coming down that trail with people defending the city shooting at me with arrows.
