Peru -- Primarily Machu Picchu (Dec 2010)

Now I'm facing the other direction (roughly south), looking up toward the peak called Machu Picchu. That is the gate house at the top, and a different agricultural terraced area. The map in an earlier photograph may use the term "Guard House" for what I'm callng the Gate House.

Note the row of people along the sloped path in the upper right quadrant of this photo.
