Peru -- Primarily Machu Picchu (Dec 2010)

The ceremonial area (or ballfield? or town square?) seen from a distance in an earlier photo. Here the terraces (generally wider than those seen earlier) are probably not agricultural, but rather an area where people stood or sat during ceremonies (or ball games?).
