Machu Picchu

Quite a lot in this photo. This is taken from higher upslope toward the south, but facing roughly north.

There are terraces at bottom. Then a stone stairway (with people on it). Then residences and (probably) food storage buildings above that. The round building at right center is a temple or tower. That's near where we first entered the area of buildings from the agricultural terraces to the on the south side (where we first came onto the site).

The green area (between buildings) near the top may have been a ballfield or a ceremonial area. I think the map at the beginning calls it the main town square.
