Larco Museum -- Lima Peru

This is the Rafael Larco Herrera Archeological Museum in Lima -- usually known as the Larco Museum.

My memory (and understanding) is that it is a privately-owned museum and mostly displays objects collected by the museum's founder. I think the time most of the collecting was done might have been the 1920s. The dates for the objects in the collection itself were (if I remember correctly) were from between years 1 and 1540, with 1540 being about the time of the conquest by Spain. I seem to recall a lot of stuff was only approximately dated, with the year 1000 appearing a lot (which might have indicated some kind of guess).
