Serengeti National Park

After leaving the park entrance complex, we drove for probably more than 1.5 hours without the roof up (and with only a few brief stops to look at interesting animals and birds). There were relatively few animals in that (probably) southeast section of the park this time of year. Then, we put top up and did a slower game drive for probably the last 20-25 miles into the lodge.

I'm not sure which of the next several photos was taken in which part of that drive between the park entrance and the lodge.
