Oldupai Gorge
While we were down in the gorge, listening to a talk by the museum director, I looked down an saw a rock with a bit of fossil bone embedded in it. The fossil is at the top left edge of the rock, with the linear features that run roughly "northwest to southeast". The rock is about the size of a set of brass knuckles.
I'm guessing the fossil is a rib bone from a deer-like creature.
