Kenya and Tanzania -- Oct 2012 -- Part I of III

I got better photos of Ostriches later. Not sure what is going on here. This one's head MIGHT be down near its knees (see the cropped enlargement in the next photo). What I like about this is how the distant background (aided by the light haze and the telephoto effect) produce an impressionistic effect.
