November 26, 2011 -- Sunrise at two temples at Abu Simbel (built by Ramses II), cruised past ruins of an old fortress at Kasr Ibrim, Amada (three structures moved here to escape lake flooding).
This photo was taken as we returned to the ship after the sunrise tour of the temple. It had been too dark to photograph the ship as we arrived.
