This is part of the exterior of the "hanging church". I believe the church was built over the gatehouse of an older fort (or something like that). The ground level has risen over the years, so the older structure is now at grade level (or slightly below) so much of the "hanging" nature of it is no longer as visually obvious. The below-grade structures at the bottom of this photo are parts of the older structure.
