Moa skeleton, This is an extinct wingless bird. This one was probably about 7 feet tall. The Moari arrived in New Zealand around 1200. Moa became extinct perhaps 150=200 years later, probably because they were delicious (and easy to harvest). (IMG_4707.SX40.JPG)
