4 Nov 2013 (Monday) – Sydney Australia – Blue Mountains

Yet another overlook. These are the Three Sisters (a "famous" rock formation, which, I've read, was not really all THAT "famous" until they starting getting a few tourists into the Blue Mountains and then began looking around for more and more things the tourists could "visit").

This photo is taken not taken from the main viewing area, but rather from the opposite side of the formation. Thus it looks a bit different from most other photos of the formation. What can be seen here (and perhaps not from the "normal" viewing area) is the quite impressive cliff below the Three Sisters.

There are 5 photos in this group. The last two were taken facing other directions. Again, unfortunately, the photos don't convey how FAR you can see from this point. However, those final two do show some of the "blue" atmospheric conditions that give the name "Blue Mountains." (IMG_4509.SX40.JPG)
