This bird and those in the several images that follow immediiately are on exhibit and in wire cages. The wire affected these photographs.
Not sure what this one is. Looks like a parrot of lorakeet, but it's unclear which type.
Later (2 Feb 2014) -- Based on "Birds of Austrslia," 8th edition (by Simpson and Day, Princeton University Press, 2010, pgs 142-143), I now believe this is a male Superb Parrot(IMG_4176.SX40.JPG)
