The ANZAC bridge in the background. ANZAC stands for Australia New Zealand Army Corps. The two small (low population) nations joined together to create a single army to support Great Britain (their mother country -- as it was viewed then) during World War I. One bridge tower has an Australian flag on it and the other has a New Zealand flag. The two flags are similar, but the Australian one has one or two more stars on it. (IMG_5813.SX40.JPG)
