Coptic Christian area in Cairo,
One of the New Testament gospels mentions that Joseph and Mary took the baby Jesus to Egypt for a time, shortly after his birth (to escape King Herod, I believe). Apparently, the Egyptian Christians have a series of traditions about all of the places the holy family (is it Holy Family?) visited during that time. These locations are displayed on this map.
I did not get out a bible to check while writing this. However, my memory is that the bible just says "Egypt" (no details about WHERE it Egypt) -- and the journey is mentioned in only one of the four gospels.
