This is the end of Milford Sound (a sound should not really have a dead end like this -- it might have been named, misnamed perhaps, before the area was fully mapped). It is the only one of the three places we cruised past that day that is populated (the only one where I saw any structures). Also, this, apparently small, community is the only place on the three sounds we visited this day that can be reached by road (that road is said to pass thru a long tunnel through a mountain to reach this place), (IMG_5253.SX40.JPG)
