17 Nov 2013 (Sunday) – Fiordland National Park NZ
This is the next day as we entered Dusky Sound (I THINK that was the name of the first one). During this day, we were in three areas (sounds), one after the other, of Fjordland National Park at the southwest corner of the South Island of New Zealand.
This was a series of steep glacier-cut valleys. In many cases, I'm not sure which photos correspond to which of the three sounds. In a general sense, they were all alike (steep cliff-like vally walls, green trees, narrow water passages, waterfalls, etc.), although, in other ways, each was unique.
This photo and the next one were taken in the observation lounge (bar) on Deck 10.
I'll annotate only a few of these photos.
In New Zealand, this is called Fiordland National Park. I sometimes spell Fiord as Fjord, which I believe is the Scandinavian spelling. (IMG_5225.SX40.JPG)
