I'm sort of lost here with respect to what direction I was facing when this photo was taken. They have some land only recently developed because it was land that rose up out of the sea during an earthquake a few decades ago. They apparently waited for many years to be sure this "new"land was permanent before developing it. (IMG_4936.SX40.JPG)
